What is a Pharos?
A pharos (fah-ros) is the Greek word for a lighthouse, and is more commonly known in connection to the great pharos of Alexandria, or lighthouse of Alexandria- one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World. Built by Ptolemy Philadelphius in approx. 280BC, it is said to have stood more than 110 meters tall, guiding all safely on their journey to and from one of the intellectual centers of the ancient world.
It is with this in respect that I hope my work serves in a similar light: to be a visible and approachable beacon for all those travelling through the journey of life, and to guide everyone onto a safer path ahead- illuminating the path forwards.
